Stonehenge is a stage featured in Killer Instinct 2/Gold. It serves as Tusk's combat stage.

Description

This stage is named and designed after the famous prehistorical monument of Stonehenge, which is located in Wiltshire, England. It represents a series of large stone megaliths that have been raised in a circular pattern around a burning pyre. The sky is a red/gold color, implying the sun is either setting or rising.

Knockoff (Stage Ultra)

The fighters can knock one another into the middle of the stage, failling into the deep hole where they are incinerated.

The KI Gold version of this Knockoff is different, since the holes are grated/fenced and there is no pyre underneath. Instead, although the Knockoff sequence is the same (i.e. uppercutting towards the center of the stage), the loser falls toward the grate, and they are presumably sliced into pieces offscreen.

Trivia

  • The theme for this stage can be heard as Tusk's idle theme in the 2013 reboot, in his new combat area.
  • In the 2017 Killer Instinct comics, Stonehenge is featured as the site of a major battle between the characters of the KI universe and the minions of Gargos during the events of Shadow Lords.
