Post-Combo Breakers[1] are powerful special moves in Killer Instinct (1994). True to their name, the player gains access to these moves after a successful Combo Breaker.
Description[]
After landing a Combo Breaker, the player's life bar will gain a flashing white line at the end. With this white spark present, they gain access to powered-up versions of their special moves that are performed with slightly different inputs. These are meant to give the player an edge after a Combo Breaker, rewarding them for fighting back and offering a chance to retaliate. They can range from Shadow Moves to entirely new attacks.
