  • P: Any Punch
  • K: Any Kick
  • Charge: Hold the direction for at least 1 second
  • Long Charge: Hold the direction for at least 2 seconds
  • Hold: Hold the button for however long
  • Release: Release a held button

Combo Breaker [← → + P/K] Maya uppercuts out of a combo. Must be timed correctly. Punch beats Kick, Kick beats Punch.
Ultra Breaker [→ ↘ ↓ ↙ ← → + FK] (6 blocks) Maya uppercuts out of an Ultra Combo. Must be used at the beginning of the Ultra Combo.

Combat Traits[]

Name
Description
Dagger Throw If Maya is positioned correctly, she can throw Temperance or Vengeance using one of her "Strike" moves and immediately pick them back up again mid-combo. However, she will have to pick them up manually if the combo is interrupted.
Missing Daggers If Maya is missing both daggers, all of her Punch attacks are made Kicks instead.
Temperance Charges Maya builds charges on her yellow Temperance dagger by hitting blocking opponents with Temperance Strike. These charges are used to alter Enmity Strike: 1 charge adds a ricochet off surfaces, and 2 charges adds a homing effect.
Vengeance Charges Maya builds charges on her purple Vengeance dagger by hitting blocking opponents with Vengeance Strike. These charges are used to alter Enmity Strike: 1 charge increases projectile durability, and 2 charges makes it unblockable.
Dagger Assault Ender Maya's Enmity Strike ender triggers a Dagger Assault. This makes both daggers hover above the enemy and strike them over time, depending on the number of dagger Charges left. Dagger Assault hits are unblockable, but they are dispelled if Maya takes damage.

Dagger Pickup [3P] Maya picks up any daggers at her feet or nearby in the air.
Axe Kick [→ + HK] Maya frontflips, attacking with her heel on the way down. Hits overhead and recaptures airborne opponents. Invulnerable to lows and throws. Hold the Kick to fake out.
Savage Strikes [← + HP] Maya does a series of four dagger slashes. Requires both daggers to execute.
Mantis Dive [↓ + HP] (air) Maya dives diagonally to tackle her opponent. Requires both daggers. Can't be used from a backwrd jump. Only hits jumping and standing opponents; not crouching.
Preying Mantis [↓ + MP, MP] Maya attacks low twice with her daggers. Requires both daggers.
Hunter Dash [→ →] Maya rolls forward as a low dash. Retrieves any daggers from the ground. Can be canceled into a jump, a Punch for a Strike special, or [HK] for an Axe Kick.
Back Dash [← ←] Maya handsprings backwards. Retrieves any daggers from the ground.
Throw [→/← + LP+LK] Maya grabs her opponent and strikes them away. Deals additional damage for each held dagger.

Vengeance Strike [↓ ↘ → + MP] (air OK) Maya throws her Vengeance dagger. Has a large amount of hitstun. Throws horizontally on the ground, or diagonally down from the air. Dagger must be retrieved afterward.
Enmity Strike [↓ ↘ → + HP] (air OK) Maya combines Temperance and Vengeance and throws them. Spends all dagger charges and applies their effects. Launches the opponent on hit and bounces off on block. Throws horizontally on the ground, or diagonally down from the air. Daggers split and must be retrieved afterward.
Tumble Kick [↓ ↘ → + K] Maya cartwheels forward to attack with both feet. Button strength determines distance. Retrieves any daggers from the ground. Last hit ground bounces airborne opponents.
Leap Kick [↓ ↙ ← + K] Maya does a rising two-footed kick into the air. Button strength determines angle and invulnerability. If not blocked, Maya can Strike special by pressing a Punch at the apex.

Ultra Combo [↓ ↘ → + 3K] Maya delivers 41 hits to finish the match.
Ultra Ender [MP+MK] (in Ultra) May does a frontflip splits kick to end the Ultra Combo.
Stage Ultra [↓ ↘ → + 3P] Maya triggers a stage-specific finishing blow.
Ultimate [LP+LK] (in Ultra) Maya unleashes Temperance and Vengeance, which strike the opponent repeatedly on their own. They combine into their Enmity form and attack from behind, before positioning themselves underneath the bent-over opponent. Maya then comes in with a high-flying stomp to slam the opponent's neck onto the daggers, though their gruesome fate is obscured from view.
