The Icehaven is Tusk's stage in Killer Instinct (2013). It is the twentieth stage that is introduced to the game and the third stage introduced in Season 3.

Description

This stage is located somewhere in an icy location with a wrecked warship, which is split in half (similar to the Crash Site and the Shipwreck Shore). There are two frozen, dead warriors lying on the ground and Narwhals rising above the sea. Polar Bears also come out to have a drink of water. There is also a warship shooting flaming arrows in the background. During an Ultra Combo, the flaming shipwreck in the background splits in half, and the prow begins to sink through the frozen sea.

Music

Killer Instinct Season 03 - Creating The Music For "Tusk"

Tusk's new theme, "The Watchman of the Gods", was composed by Celldweller & Atlas Plug. The theme has a vibe of vikings and barbarians, described as "viking metal". It has a symphonic metal genre and features a Bulgarian choir for the vocals.

When the characters hold still for a certain amount of time, the music will change to a melancholy rendition of "Stonehenge" from the Killer Instinct 2/Gold soundtrack.

Trivia

• This stage, along with Kim Wu's Chinatown Brawl, Arbiter's Arena of Judgment, and Gargos' Astral Plane, are the only stages created for Season 3.
