The Chicago Alley (or simply called the Alley, also called the Back Alley or Street) is a stage from the original Killer Instinct. It serves as an alternate stage for either B.Orchid or TJ Combo.
Description[]
True to the stage's name, it is a back alley street covered in graffiti and features a pink lowrider vehicle with flame decals parked in the background.
The SNES version of this stage is shown differently.
This is the same area as the city's rooftop where Orchid is mainly fought in the game's arcade, and where the fighters can knock each other off into this stage, brutally smashing into the car. (The SNES version has the loser simply bounce off the car into the paved ground.)
Music[]
The stage's track, titled "Freeze", is composed and mixed by Robin Beanland. This funky 1990s-style track features audio such as beatboxing, police sirens and helicopters, car/motorcycle engines revving, submachine gun sounds, and vocals reminscient of the late singer Michael Jackson, all of which befit the urban and gritty atmosphere of this stage.

- The stage appears in the background (shown with the familiar graffiti and pink lowrider) of a concept art for Orchid's retro costume in Killer Instinct (2013).
- In the SNES version of Killer Instinct, the Chicago Alley also appeared as the background of Orchid, Combo, Cinder and Riptor during their respective endings.
